Online therapy is widely accessible and beneficial for many people. However, it might not be suitable for individuals who are not comfortable with technology, don’t have stable internet access, or are in a crisis situation.

Currently, our services are available exclusively to residents of California and Florida, as our therapists are licensed to practice in these states. If you are not currently residing in California or Florida, our therapists may be able to provide you with contact information for therapists who are licensed in your state.

Paying for Zoom Therapy

Fees for online therapy sessions vary based on session length and frequency. Please contact Zoom Therapy for detailed pricing information.

Effective July 1st 2023, self-pay therapy sessions are invoiced at $200.

Affordable Rates for Self-Paying Clients: Sliding scale session rates may be available based on how much the client can afford to spend on therapy on a monthly basis. Please contact us for more information.

Health Insurance Clients: Your total out-of-pocket cost is dependent on your health insurance coverage, deductible, copays, etc., as well as the total number of therapy sessions you attend.

Our therapists are credentialed with various insurance plans either through Zoom Therapy or a third party . Please contact the therapist to verify that they can accept your insurance plan benefits prior to your free consultation.

We accept various forms of payment including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. FSA and HSA cards when eligible.

HSAs and FSAs can be used to pay for therapy services. However, you should check with your account provider to ensure these services are covered.

Our cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours in advance, or fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged a late cancellation/no-show fee. The fee amount will be discussed during your initial consultation.

A superbill is a detailed invoice outlining the services a client received from an out-of-network therapist or other healthcare providers. Clients can then submit an official receipt of their qualified online therapy expenses to their health insurance company for reimbursement. It is up to the insurance company to determine how much money the client will get reimbursed, if any.

Our therapists are committed to providing support when you need it most. While Zoom Therapy does not provide 24/7 crisis support, you can send your therapist a message, and they will respond as soon as possible.
